Dr. Yvonne Steinert named to Order of Canada

We wish to congratulate Dr. Yvonne Steinert, who was made a Member of the Order of Canada by Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada, for her contributions to the advancement of pedagogical principles, faculty development and new training approaches in Canadian medical education. 

Dr. Yvonne Steinert is a clinical psychologist and professor of Department of Family Medicine. She is also the Director of the Centre for Medical Education and the Richard and Sylvia Cruess Chair in Medical Education. Her educational interests relate to teaching and learning in medicine, the impact of faculty development on the individual and the organization, and the continuing professional development of faculty members.
