Dear colleagues,

Following the announcement that McGill’s fall term courses will be offered primarily through remote delivery platforms, we anticipate an increase in the number of payments to be processed for guest lecturers/speakers living outside of Canada and working remotely.

While guest lecturers/speakers who are residents of Canada are paid through POPs (payroll one-time payment system), those who perform their service remotely as a non-resident of Canada should be paid through Financial Services via a Payment Request. Furthermore, it is NOT necessary to submit Regulation 105 and T1261 forms for remote non-residents’ payments.

We invite you to share this information as relevant within your faculties.

Best Regards,
