Biography: 

Talat Bessissow is an assistant professor of medicine in the division of gastroenterology at the McGill University Health Center. He is an attending physician at the McGill inflammatory bowel disease center and the McGill small bowel program. His main research interest focuses on the role of mucosal healing in IBD, the detection of neoplasia in ulcerative colitis as well as improving disease related outcomes.
