Geographers participate in the Arctic Frontier Summit at McGill

On Friday, May 12^th, several geographers participated in the Arctic Frontier Summit co-organized by McGill’s Faculty of Science and the Norwegian Embassy in Ottawa. Professor Emeritus George Wenzel was among the invited panelists, sharing his decades of personal experience as a researcher in the community of Clyde River (Kanngiqtugaapik in Inuktituk) on the shores of Baffin Island in Nunavut. What a rare site it was to see him wearing a tie. Looking sharp George!
