Congratulations to PhD student Mathis Messager, his supervisor Prof. Lehner, and (former) undergrads Charlotte Cockburn and Caitlin Watt for co-winning the German Champion award of the Frontiers Planet Prize for their research on non-perennial rivers and streams! The paper was nominated by co-author Prof. Klement Tockner from Frankfurt, Germany who inspired the research and who is receiving the award on behalf of the entire team.
