Inaugural seminar of the Department successful

The first seminar of the Department of Global and Public Health was held on September 20th, 2023.

On September 20th, 2023, the Department of Global and Public Health held its inaugural seminar. We welcomed Dr. Louise Pilote for a talk titled Sex and Gender Determinants of Vascular Disease in the Global Context. The event was held both on Zoom and in-person in the School of Population and Global Health. If you missed the event, you can review Dr. Pilote's slides.

The event was also an opportunity to congratulate Dr. Madhukar Pai for his appointment as Chair of the Department of Global and Public Health, and to thank Dr. Catherine Hankins, who served as interim Chair of the Department since 2022.
