5th McGill Summer Institute in Infectious Diseases and Global Health

Hosted by McGill Global Health Programs, the McGill International TB Centre, the JD Maclean Centre for Tropical Diseases, the MUHC-RI (Infectious Diseases and Immunity in Global Health) and the McGill Interdisciplinary Initiative in Infection and Immunity, the Summer Institute in Infectious Diseases and Global Health returns with 8 courses. Last year almost 700 participants from 53 countries traveled to McGill to take short courses featuring internationally known faculty, a focus on highly applicable new knowledge, and opportunities to network with fellow global health professionals from around the world.

McGill University is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous Peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. McGill honours, recognizes, and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which peoples of the world now gather. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous Peoples from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
