DEADLINE: Faculty Project Submissions for Global Health Scholars

Friday, December 14, 2018 23:45

A unique opportunity for McGill & affiliated hospitals Faculty Members to get extra help on their research in the summer.

The Global Health Scholars Program pairs an outstanding McGill undergraduate student with a faculty member to help on an international, Northern Canada, or Montreal-based research project during the summer of 2019.

Applicants will be matched to faculty mentors based on skill set, interests, and needs of the mentor. The faculty member will make the final decision on which student is selected for his/her project. The chosen students will receive $2,500-5,000 for the project which will need to cover travel costs (if required) and stipend.

McGill University is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous Peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations. McGill honours, recognizes, and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which peoples of the world now gather. Today, this meeting place is still the home to many Indigenous Peoples from across Turtle Island. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land.
