Fall 2018 McGill International TB Centre Travel Awards

We are longer accepting applications for the Fall 2018 McGill International TB Centre Travel Awards as the deadline has passed.

The award recipients will be announced at Global Health Night.

Established in 2015 and co-sponsored by McGill Global Health Programs, there will be up to 3 Travel awards up to $1,500/each for the Fall 2018 term. These awards are specifically for trainees (students and postdoctoral fellows) in the fields of Tuberculosis and other mycobacterial research, and will be used for traveling (e.g. registration and travel expenses) to present their own research at national and international scientific meetings and/or conferences. Applications are twice per year.

General Instructions and Eligibility Requirements

1. Only students and postdocs who are members of the McGill International TB Centre are eligible to apply.

2. Students whose target conference is scheduled in October or November 2018 will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

As a condition of the award requirements include the following:

A poster presentation of research or activities for which the travel award was given must be presented on Global Health Night and TB Centre Trainee Research Day (TBD)

McGill University is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous Peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg Nations.
