The Canadian Coalition for Global Health Research (CCGHR), along with the Canadian Society for International Health, the People’s Health Movement Canada, and Grandmothers Advocacy Network call on the Government of Canada to ensure equitable access to the COVID-19 vaccine and other COVID-related products.
McGill Global Health Programs is pleased to endorse this initiative. Dr. Charles Larson, Interim Director for McGill Global Health Programs and CCGHR National Coordinator, is among the 120 leaders in global and public health from across Canada who have signed the letter.
"Recognizing the desire to enable Canadians’ access to [vaccines] as rapidly as possible, we urge your attention to the risks posed to both Canadians and the world if efforts to ensure equitable global access to [vaccines] (and other COVID-related products) are not accelerated."
