Paul Allison
Biography: 

Paul Allison is a professor in the Faculty of Dental Medicine & Oral Health Sciences. His field of expertise is dental public health. He is heavily involved with a number of national and international projects that span research and the implementation of research into practice. For instance, he has been involved in work documenting the problems of access to dental care for people in Canada and working with the federal government to implement their new public dental care program.

He is a former Dean of the Faculty and former President of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences, as well as the Association of Canadian Faculties of Dentistry. He is currently co-chairing the preparation of a National Oral Health Research Strategy, sponsored by the Institute of Musculoskeletal Health and Arthritis.
