Are you preparing for a conference presentation in the coming months? If you are using slides to complement your talk, attend this workshop to be introduced to concepts of visual communication that you can apply to your own work.
Participate in this workshop and you will:
- receive an introduction to common principles of design
- practice reviewing and critiquing slides
- apply your emerging visual language to slides of your own
Please come to this session with slides from a previous presentation or draft slides for an upcoming one.
The workshop will be facilitated by Moe Malik (MA, Communication and Media Studies) who has studied visual design, public relations, and advertising. The workshop will be held on McGill's downtown campus on Wednesday, May 29, from 1 pm - 3 pm. Registrants will receive the workshop location in a confirmation email.
