Influenza is a common respiratory illness affecting millions of Canadians each year. A flu vaccine is your best way to prevent the flu!

We are happy to announce that there are once again sufficient funds to cover the full cost of the flu vaccine for active McGill staff who are under age 65 and who are members of the University’s health and/or dental plans, and their eligible dependents who are also under age 65 and covered by these plans.  The flu shot can be obtained at the downtown Medisys clinic or at a one day walk-in clinic at Macdonald campus.

Medisys downtown clinic - as of November 20

Who:   Active staff under age 65 who are members of the McGill Health and/or Dental Plans, and their eligible dependents who are also under age 65 and covered by these Plans.

Where: The Medisys Health Group clinic: 600 de Maisonneuve West, 22nd floor

When: Starting November 20, 2017, Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; and Saturday, November 25 and December 9 from 8:00 am to noon.                          

How:  Schedule an appointment - call Medisys at (514) 499-2777 and mention account #17697.

At the clinic:  You must present your McGill ID card.  If your eligible dependents visit the clinic without you, they will need your McGill ID number.

Macdonald campus walk-in clinic - November 30

Who:  Active staff under age 65*who are members of the McGill Health and/or Dental Plans, and their eligible dependents who are also under age 65 and covered by these Plans.

Where: Faculty Lounge - Macdonald-Stewart Building

When:  November 30, 2017 - 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (last appointment is at 4:30 pm)

At the clinic:  You must present your McGill ID card.  If your eligible dependents visit the clinic without you, they will need your McGill ID number.

If you are unable to attend the one-day walk-in clinic at Macdonald Campus:  You, and your eligible dependents, can receive the flu vaccination at the downtown Medisys Health Group Clinic located at 600 de Maisonneuve W., 22nd floor.
