Carrie Derick Award

McGill - Carrie Derick Award for Excellence in Graduate Teaching and Supervision

The award recognizes excellence in supervision and teaching of graduate students of a professor who is within the first 12 years of his/her career as an academic.

Award: The award is presented at Spring Convocation. The recipient receives a plaque, and their name is inscribed on a permanent plaque in the Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies Office.

Eligibility: A professor must have been eligible to supervise for 10 years or less and have been involved in graduate student training at McGill for a minimum of three years

Deadline: Mid January
