Jenn Riley and Jessica Lange will lead a 90 minute workshop on open access scholarship and open data. Part of the workshop will also involve helping participants to understand publishing agreements and learn how to advocate for retaining
copyrights as well.
The event will take place in the McGill Research Commons of McGill's McLennan-Redpath Library (map in the discussion). The room is wheelchair accessible.
Jenn Riley is Associate Dean, Digital Initiatives in the McGill University Library, in Montréal, Québec. She is a digital librarian, collaborator, inquirer, learner, and analyst. Her former positions include being Head of Carolina Digital Library and Archives, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; Metadata Librarian for the Digital Library Program of Indiana University Libraries; and Digital Media Specialist for the Digital Library Program of Indiana University Libraries.
Jessica Lange is the Scholarly Communications Librarian of McGill University.
