IGSF Student Advising

It is strongly recommended that students meet with their program adviser on a regular basis to discuss program requirements, course selections, transfer credits, internship options, and other issues related to their Gender, Sexuality, Feminist, and Social Justice Studies program or the Graduate Option in GWS program.

If you are interested in registering in the Graduate Option in Gender and Women's Studies, please contact the andrew.folco [at] mcgill.ca (Administrative and Student Affairs Coordinator) and visit the Graduate Studies page on our website. To participate in the graduate option, your must apply to one of these departments. Please note that our Institute does not receive applications for the Graduate Option, so please contact the department that you will be applying to for more information on application requirements.

Arts OASIS

The Arts Office of Advising & Student Information Servises (OASIS) website provides Arts students with general academic information and advice about issues such as faculty and degree requirements, registration issues, inter-faculty transfer, study away, academic standing, or graduation. In addition to advising students about such issues, either by appointment or on a daily drop-in basis, the Arts OASIS Faculty Advisors offer a number of information sessions each term, including degree planning workshops, study away workshops, and freshman information sessions.
