GHDW Mission Statement

Our working group aims to collaborate with industry partners, researchers and youth for a multidisciplinary approach to development and design of games and gamifications. We believe that bringing together experts and enthusiasts who look at games from diverse perspectives, can be a powerful way to shape the future of games for well-being, human development and social change. Therefore, we: 1) share research findings and best practices in our respective areas to impact industry game development and design, 2) engage diverse stakeholders in the gaming industry to realize impactful and meaningful games, and 3) find and work on gamifiable educational contexts.
