Eagle Spirit Science Futures

Eagle Spirit Science Futures is an outreach initiative for Indigenous youth hosted by the Indigenous Health Professions Program in the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University, in partnership with the Faculty of Education. The Eagle Spirit Science Futures Camp includes science teachings from an Indigenous point-of-view with land-based curriculum woven into the experience, cultural activities and hands-on health science workshops intended to pique the campers’ interest in science and post-secondary education. Our mission is to offer a welcoming environment and expose our campers to a variety of academic, athletic, social and cultural opportunities available at McGill University. Our intention is to empower and encourage Indigenous youth to realize their full potential in the areas of education, career, health, leadership and personal development. We encourage Indigenous youth in grade 7/8 (Sec I/II) to apply as campers.
