Reconciliation, for me, means that I am genuinely seeking to reach out, understand, and engage with fellow Indigenous community members. I wish the best for them and seek all possible means to support their social, economic and cultural flourishing. I am also very curious to explore what knowledge they convey about the natural world and how this can inspire better human interactions with the biosphere.

In Procurement Services, we are embedding Reconciliation in our Sustainable Procurement strategies and trying to encourage the development of positive business relations with Indigenous partners. We are exploring best practices in this area, testing new ways of doing things, seeking feedback from Indigenous community members, and also communicating our progress with other institutions in the hopes of generating even more momentum for Reconciliation.
