Request an Access Control List (ACL) change

All Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs) on the network are protected by Access Control Lists (ACLs) - one for incoming initiated traffic and one for outgoing traffic. ACLs permits the denial of traffic from specific IP addresses to a specific destination IP address and port. It also can permit the specification of different types of traffic such as ICMP, TCP, UDP, etc. Needless to say, it is very granular and allows us to be very specific. This is a form of a packet filtering firewall, which protects the network.

Please note: Requests can only be submitted by IT/LAN Administrators to modify ACLs on VLANs they administer.

For more details, see Network and IP Management for Local Area Network (LAN) Administrators in the IT Knowledge Base.
