Constitutionalism - A Skeptical View

For its inaugural lecture, the Research Group on Constitutional Studies presents "Constitutionalism - A Skeptical View" with guest speaker Jeremy Waldron, Chichele Professor of Political and Social Theory at All Soul's College, Oxford, and Professor of Law at New York University.

The Research Group on Constitutional Studies encourages research in political theory, political philosophy, jurisprudence, and normative and empirical studies of constitutionalism. It encompasses scholars from the Departments of Political Science and Philosophy and the Faculty of Law. Its focus includes federalism and legal pluralism; constitutional and analytical jurisprudence; the history of political thought, including the history of constitutionalism, social contract theory, and rights theory; theories of rights and justice; and the study of constitutional systems in practice.
