From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Adelle Blackett and Armand de Mestral appointed to CETA rosters

The Faculty of Law is pleased to share that Professor Adelle Blackett and Professor Emeritus Armand de Mestral have been appointed to Canada’s rosters of experts for the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). These rosters will be used to constitute expert panels that will examine various matters arising under CETA.

Professor Blackett, Ad. E., Canada Research Chair in Transnational Labour and Development, was appointed to the CETA Chapter 23 (Trade and Labour) Roster. Professor Emeritus Armand de Mestral, C.M., Jean Monnet Chair in the Law of International Economic Integration, was appointed to the CETA Chapter 24 (Trade and Environment) Roster. Law alumna Elaine Feldman, BCL’77, LLB’78, was also appointed to the Chapter 24 Roster.
