Cristina Birks and Ma’n H. Zawati named YBAM Lawyers of the Year

The Young Bar Association of Montreal (YBAM) unveiled the seven "YBAM Lawyers of 2014" at its 8th Annual Leaders of Tomorrow Gala, which was held last Friday.

The Faculty of Law was delighted to learn that among them are Cristina Birks (BCL / LLB'07) of Borden Ladner Gervais, in the Civil and Commercial Litigation category, and Ma'n H. Zawati, a DCL candidate at McGill, in the Alternative Career category.

All of the winners distinguished themselves in their respective field of law by their exceptional record, their social involvement, their personal and professional achievements, as well as their vision and perspective.

The annual Gala is an opportunity for the Young Bar Association of Montreal to recognize and reward this excellence and the Faculty offers its warm congratulations to Birks and Zawati.
