"Space Law meets Women, Peace, and Security": A talk with Prof. Joan Johnson-Freese

The McGill Institute of Air and Space Law and the McGill International Law Society are pleased to host speaker Prof. Joan Johnson-Freese

Her talk is entitled “Space Law meets Women, Peace, and Security” and brings together research from the newly released 2nd edition of her book “Women, Peace & Security: An introduction” with her substantial body of space security research.

Prof Johnson-Freese is Professor Emeritus of National Security Affairs at the US Naval War College, currently serves on the faculty of the Harvard Extension School, and is a Senior Fellow of Women in International Security. 

Refreshments will be offered. This event is open to all members of McGill community (students & faculty/staff).
