For Nuit blanche à Montréal 2019, McGill University’s Visual Arts Collection is joining forces with the Schulich School of Music and the Beatty Memorial Lecture Series to offer Alive at Night: Art, Music, and History at McGill.
Enjoy free flashlight tours of the art and architecture in Redpath Hall, a renowned 19th century building, and one of the oldest at McGill. Animated by a multimedia presentation, and followed by a live, multi-instrumental musical performance, these tours promise to bring the past, present, and future of McGill to life.
There will be a total of four tours throughout the night: two in English and two in French. Each tour will accommodate 30 persons and last approximately 60 minutes. The tours are free, but registration is required.
The starting point for each tour will be at the Roddick Gates, on Sherbrooke Street West (corner McGill College Avenue). The schedule for the tours is as follows:
9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Tour 1 (FRENCH)
10:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Tour 2 (ENGLISH)
11:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Tour 3 (FRENCH)
12:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. Tour 4 (ENGLISH)

Pour la Nuit blanche à Montréal 2019, la Collection d'arts visuels de l'Université McGill, en collaboration avec l'École de Musique Schulich et à la Série de Conférences Commémoratives Beatty, vous offre Nuit Vive: Art, Musique, et Histoire à McGill.
Lampe de poche à la main, découvrez la Salle Redpath, ce bâtiment célèbre du 19e siècle, à l’architecture néo-romane exubérante, à la manière de Richardson. Animés par une présentation multimédia et suivis d'une performance musicale multi-instrumentale en direct, les visites promettent de faire vivre le passé, le présent et l'avenir de McGill!
Il y aura un total de quatre visites: deux en anglais et deux en français. Chaque visite pourra accueillir 30 personnes et durera environ 60 minutes. Les visites sont gratuites, mais l'inscription est obligatoire.
Le point de départ de chaque visite sera au Portail Roddick, rue Sherbrooke Ouest (au coin de l'avenue McGill College). Le programme des visites suit:
