Peatlands of Canada

Peatlands of Canada CD-ROM is an updated version of the Peatlands of Canada map (1995). The database associated with the map was derived primarily from the Soil Landscapes of Canada (SLC) database (Centre for Land and Biological Research, 1996) which contains information about the percentage of land area covered by the four peatland classes.

This CD-ROM contains a digital peatland database (.e00 files, and shape files), the Peatlands of Canada Map in PDF format (peat_map.pdf) and as an ERSI plot file (peat.gra).
