Accessing Full Text while using PubMed

PubMed is a free resource that can be accessed from the Internet, but not all articles come with free full text. McGill has a special PubMed link that will connect your search results in PubMed with McGill Library journal holdings to see what is available as full text through McGill.

Use this link (and bookmark it if you choose) to access the McGill version of PubMed:
https://proxy.library.mcgill.ca/login?url=https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed?otool=icamuhslib

From the Abstract view of an article in PubMed, you will now see the McGill “find full text” button:

Why is the link so long?

To find the PubMed link again:

1. Go to Databases A to Z on the McGill Library homepage

2. Type PubMed into the search box

3. Click on the PubMed link that appears
