Opening & Service Hours

Monday, September 7 (Labour Day): Humanities and Social Sciences Library (McLennan-Redpath Complex) is open for study from 8:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. All other McGill library locations and services closed.
Monday, October 12 (Thanksgiving): Humanities and Social Sciences Library (McLennan-Redpath Complex) is open for study from 8:00 a.m. to midnight. All other McGill library locations and services closed.
Friday, October 23: Service desk at the Osler Library closed.
Macdonald Campus Library access restrictions: A current McGill ID card is required to access the building after 9pm on weeknights, and at all times on weekends. Faculty, staff, and students from the downtown campus must request access in advance (email macdonald.library [at] mcgill.ca (macdonald[dot]library[at]mcgill[dot]ca)).
During the 24/7 access period at the McLennan-Redpath Library Complex, a valid McGill ID card is required for entry after midnight. Extended hours at the downtown campus are made possible thanks to the SSMU Library Improvement Fund.
