Opening & Service Hours

Osler Library will be closed on February 16 and April 16. The Information Desk will be closed on March 25.
Macdonald Campus Library access restrictions: A current McGill ID card is required to access the building after 10pm on weeknights, and at all times on weekends. Faculty, staff, and students from the downtown campus must request access in advance (email macdonald.library [at] mcgill.ca (macdonald[dot]library[at]mcgill[dot]ca)).
During the 24/7 access period at the McLennan-Redpath Library Complex (starting March 8, 2026), a valid McGill ID card is required for entry after midnight.
Extended hours at the downtown campus are made possible thanks to the SSMU Library Improvement Fund.
