Graduate Orientation – Winter 2019

A special Welcome Session for newly admitted McGill-Macdonald Campus graduate students will take place on Tuesday, January 15th, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in the Macdonald-Stewart Faculty Lounge, Room MS2-022 (next to the Welcome Centre in Mac-Stewart Building). Associate Dean (Graduate Education) Ian Strachan will provide students with important information including where to find guidance and support on the road to completing their graduate degree at McGill, as well as information on the special programs and resources McGill has available for students for both professional and academic development. Representatives from the Macdonald Campus Graduate Student Society will also be available to greet new students. Refreshments will be provided. Attendance to this session is part of the responsibility of each graduate student to be aware of McGill procedures and regulations.

Macdonald Campus graduate students are also strongly encouraged to attend events at the Winter 2019 Graduate Orientation at McGill’s downtown Montreal campus on Monday, January 7th, including a Discover McGill information session.

Special events for new international students are also being held at the downtown campus, including a Brunch on Friday, January 4th.
