The Materials Engineering Co-op Work Term allows students to acquire valuable work experience through three semesters of industrial training (6 credits) which are integrated into the 11-semester course curriculum.
- To be eligible for the first Co-op work term students must have completed at least 40 credits of the core course program in Materials Engineering.
- The program design includes one 4-month (January - April) and one 8-month (May - December) Co-op work term.
- Students work in a variety of industrial and research sectors including the aerospace/automotive sectors, biomaterials, nanomaterials or advanced materials, natural resources, process engineering, computational materials engineering and materials characterization fields.
