The majority of Co-op jobs are located in the Montreal area, Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia and other provinces and territories, as well as the U.S., Europe, Australia and Asia. Students will likely require visas to work in foreign countries.

About 20% of the graduating class goes on to graduate school.

AVERAGE SALARY AFTER GRADUATION

This is dependent on many factors including: industry, experience, location, role, size of the organization, among others. Median annual wages in the industries employing the largest numbers of materials engineers in May 2010 were as follows:
