Title: Boundary-corner contributions to entanglement entropy.

Abstract: The entanglement entropy, while being under the spotlight of theoretical physics for quite some time now, remains a very challenging quantity to compute, even in free quantum field theories, and a number of issues are yet to be fully explored. One such issues concerns boundary effects on entanglement entropy, which is important both for theoretical explorations of entanglement and for applications of entanglement entropy to lattice simulations, condensed matter systems, etc.. During this talk, I will show how the presence of spacetime boundaries affects the entanglement entropy. To that end, I will introduce different methods: field theoretic, lattice, and holographic. Focus will be on entangling surfaces that intersect the space boundary, and special attention will be given to the universal logarithmic contributions that such configurations produce in the entanglement entropy.
