Title: A vanishing result for the second L2-Betti number.
Abstract: I will give a quick introduction to L2-Betti numbers and describe a result explaining why the second L2-Betti number vanishes for certain compact 2-complexes whose fundamental groups are special, in the sense that they are subgroups of right-angled Artin groups.
