Note: if you are at McGill University and you have never received training for the NMR facility, please request training with the training request form before submitting any samples. Choose "sample drop-off only" for type of training. If you are not at McGill, please kirill.levin [at] mcgill.ca (email Kirill) before submitting samples.
Use this form to submit information about liquids NMR samples to be run by an NMR manager on the Bruker 500 MHz instrument with sample changer. Data will be sent to the McGill email address used to log into this form (see above). After filling in this form
- label your sample with your sample name written neatly in the top inch or so of the sample
- Parafilm the top of the sample (including over the cap)
- bring the samples to rack near the goods elevator (on your left as your walk from the stairs or elevator to the NMR room)
- inform Kirill by kirill.levin [at] mcgill.ca (email) or phone (514 398-6219) if your samples are time-sensitive and/or require special treatment
If you have a lot of samples to submit, you can use a spreadsheet - contact Kirill to obtain a template.
This form is only to be used by researchers working outside of the Otto Maass or Pulp and Paper buildings, and only for experiments to be run on the sample changer. For chemistry department liquids NMR, use the chemistry department sample submission form. For all other requests, kirill.levin [at] mcgill.ca (email Kirill).
