Health Insurance Information

If you are only studying in the UK for 6 months or less and you have a short-term study visa, you will need to obtain private medical insurance as you will be liable for any NHS health services that you use.

If you are an EU/EEA student, or a non-EU student studying in the UK for more than 6 months, you are entitled to health services through the National Health Service, though you may wish to consider private health insurance as well as there can be long waiting times for some NHS services.
