Highlights
Qiushi Academy, the predecessor of Zhejiang University, was founded in 1897 and one of the earliest modern academies of higher learning in China. They are committed to cultivating excellent talent, advancing science and technology, serving social development, and promoting culture, with their motto: “Seeking the Truth and Pioneering New Trails”
Its 7 faculties, 20 schools and 16 school-level departments, are located in the historical and picturesque city of Hangzhou, one of 7 ancient capitals of China. The highlight is the famous West Lake that offers beautiful scenery.
