Dr. Vladimir Reinharz
Biography:
Dr. Vladimir Reinharz is an Assistant Professor of computer science at UQAM. He develops numerical methods to model viral infections with and without treatment. These models take into account the cellular environment as the processes of viral replication, production, secretion inside the infected cells. His research focus is to understand how treatment affects these processes in HCV infection as well as in HBV infection. He is also an expert on RNA folding and RNA structure. https://vreinharz.com
