Financing program for medical teaching in clinical settings - Purchase of equipment

As part of the MSSS1 financing program for medical teaching in clinical settings, McGill receives a budget to finance health establishments that are part of its network in Quebec. The purpose of the program is to ensure that the sites have the equipment and the resources necessary to teach trainees. Please note that this program is renewed on a yearly basis therefore, there is no guarantee that it will always be available.

The objective of the program is to help establishments develop their teaching capacity as a result of the increasing number of rotations by residents and students as well as to assist the sites with the implementation of new medical training methods.

Financial support is offered to the various University hospital centers in Montreal as well as to teaching sites in rural areas that welcome McGill medical trainees.
