Our Programs

The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences foundational undergraduate medical program is the 4-year MDCM (Medicinæ Doctorem et Chirurgiæ Magistrum) program, fully accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) and by the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC). Applicants to the MDCM program must hold a bachelor's level university degree.

Joint Programs

International Medical Graduates Program

International (non-US) medical graduates (IMG) who are residents of Québec (see MDCM for IMG) may apply to a special advanced standing program.

(Med-P) Qualifying Year for Quebec CEGEP graduates

Québec CEGEP graduates may apply for admission to the (Med-P) Qualifying Year. Med-P students must successfully complete one year in the Faculty of Science in order to then be admitted into the 4-year MDCM program.

Allied Health Professional Programs

The Faculty of Medicine is proud to offer a range of opportunities for health professional training through the Ingram School of Nursing, the School of Physical and Occupational Therapy, and the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders. We encourage applicants to explore the schools' respective websites for details on programs and requirements.
