MedIT offers desktop support to all Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences administrative staff computers that are attached to the CAMPUS domain. This support includes the setup, configuration and upgrade of desktop software in addition to network storage and backup of essential files.
Non administrative staff members can purchase support on a per-incident basis.
Support provided on a per-incident basis is subject to a charge that is negotiated with the user before the support is carried out. The user will only be charged once the anticipated work is completed. Charges are based on flat fees outlined in the Service Request form or $60 per hour for general support, charged in increments of $15 per fifteen minutes. Any work resolved in fifteen minutes or less will not be charged to the user.
