CREATE Program

Medical Physicists apply knowledge and scientific methodology of physics to all aspects of medicine, to conduct research, develop or improve theories and address problems related to diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of human disease. The Medical Physics Research Training Network MPRTN/CREATE is a network based on two Quebec, CAMPEP-accredited programs (McGill, U. Laval) together with collaborators from academia, industry and government agencies with the aim to enrich medical physics research training at all levels of graduate education. This is done by creating a number of new courses and workshop events as well as by ensuring that students have access to the best technology or expertise, regardless of whether this exists at universities, in industry or in government organizations. MPRTN provides funding in the form of scholarships tenable at McGill or Université Laval. Read more at mprtn.com.
