Congratulations Luca Weishaupt, undergraduate research student in Dr. Abbsinejad Enger's lab for winning the "Math And Physics Class Of 1965 Prize". Luca received the award for his academic excellence and research activities in Medical Physics. The prize was established in 2016 by the Math and Physics Class of 1965 and is awarded by McGill Faculty of Science.

Liam Carroll won the Marika Zelenka Roy innovation prize for our detector BetaSence at McGill Clinical Innovation competition.
Two years in a row, two different projects from my lab have been selected among five top finalists to compete in McGill Clinical Innovations Competition. This year we compete with BetaSense - An innovative technology that enables access to precision diagnostic imaging.

Gabriel Famulari, won the Young Investigator Award for his project "Urethra-Sparing with Intensity Modulated Brachytherapy for Prostate Cancer" at the Curietherapies 2019.

Gabriel Famulari’s project AIM-Brachy was selected as one of the 5 finalists in McGill Clinical Innovation Competition and Hakim Family Prize.
ESTRO 2018
Gabriel Famulari’s abstract “Intensity modulated brachytherapy system for dynamic modulation of shielded catheters” is one of the five that was selected out of the numerous submitted abstracts under Brachytherapy track at the ESTRO conference to highlight the type of innovative science presented in an area. The abstract will be published in the conference report. Congratulations Gabriel!
