Luca received the award for his academic excellence and research activities in Medical Physics.   • Gabriel Famulari received the Canadian Cancer Society travel award to present his work "Intensity modulated brachytherapy system for dynamic modulation of shielded catheters" as an oral communication at the European SocieTy for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) annual conference April 2018. This abstract was one of the five selected out of numerous submitted abstracts to the Brachytherapy track, and in addition to be published in the ESTRO abstract book, will be published in the ESTRO conference report to give an example of innovative science.
