Canada-U.S. Fulbright Visiting Research Chair in Public Policy

The Fulbright Program offers the McGill Institute for the Study of Canada (MISC) an annual Visiting Research Chair focused on Public Policy and fields of mutual interest to Canada and the U.S. in order to further the development of MISC’s program and research.

The Fulbright Chair is expected to conduct collaborative research at the MISC, and to lecture at either the undergraduate or graduate level. The major benefits that MISC realizes through the Fulbright Visiting Chair is the intellectual value of integrating a dedicated researcher into ongoing areas of scholarly pursuit, the increased public visibility the Institute gains by having noteworthy scholars addressing issues of current debate and importance, and the long-term benefit of ongoing academic ties with the United States in areas of mutual interest and concern.
