While the Indigenous Studies Program was inaugurated in 2014, the Quebec Studies Program was first offered at McGill in 1963, and was adopted under the MISC umbrella in 2019. Currently, all three options are offered as Minor Programs and Canadian Studies is offered as a Major and Honours program.
