World Migratory Bird Day Spring Walk

Head out with Betsy McFarlane and become familiar with our local spring birds through guided observation! Come and search the Arboretum for as many spring migrants as possible. Learn about their natural history and discover the diversity of bird life here at the Morgan Arboretum.

We expect to encounter the following species of early warblers - click the name to see ID tips & listen to their calls:

Yellow-rumped Warbler
Northern Parula
Pine Warbler
Nashville Warbler
Northern Waterthrush

Target audience: Adults and children over 12 years old

Wear: Appropriate outdoor clothing including tall waterproof boots
Bring: Binoculars, field guides, water and a snack
Cost: Free of charge for Arboretum members. Regular entry fees apply to non-members: Adult $8, Child $4.50, Senior and Student $5.50, Family $20

We are not taking reservations for this event. Those interested in attending should meet at the Conservation Centre at the start of the event.
