Queer and Jewish-friendly Places to Eat in Montreal

Here is a list of some queer-friendly, Jewish-friendly spaces in Montreal!

Here are four great Montreal options for restaurants that serve the Jewish community and the LGBTQ+ community alike. These are all places where you can have Kosher food and feel comfortable in a friendly environment no matter who you are.

  1. Gryphon D’Or is a Jewish owned tearoom located in NDG. They serve tea, sandwiches and desserts, they host dinners for certain Jewish holidays. It is an inviting, warm, and inclusive environment, with very tasty finger food! 

 

  1.  Arthurs Nosh Bar is an LGBTQ+ friendly, Jewish deli located in Notre-Dame. They serve breakfast all day, and brunch on the weekends. It is super cozy and a great Kosher restaurant option in Montreal.  

 

  1. DELI 365 is most known for their smoked meat sandwiches and other kosher specialties, with a welcoming and casual vibe to the space. It is located near other Kosher food options such as Walters Market in Outremont.  

 

  1. Schwartz’s Deli is a Jewish owned, woman owned, very popular food spot in Montreal. It is popular for a reason; they serve traditional Jewish smoked meat, amongst other delicious classics in an environment that is welcoming to all.
