MORSL is pleased to inform the McGill community that the Newman Centre (3484 Peel) is offering two masses to mark Ash Wednesday on February 26.
Ash Wednesday is a significant day on the Christian calendar as it heralds the beginning of Lent, a solemn period leading up to Easter. Ash Wednesday and Lent are observed across different Christian denominations, including Roman Catholic, Anglican, Lutheran and Methodist churches, and many of the rituals and practices go back centuries.
