Earth Day Gardening with MORSL
Celebrate Earth Day with us on April 22nd by getting your hands in the dirt with MORSL. We'll work on preparing our Interfaith Peace Garden (outside the entrance of 3610 McTavish) by doing some cleanup. Gloves and snacks are provided. If it rains, we will do rock painting and macramé inside. In MORSL's gardening group, we cultivate both plants and interesting, open, and supportive conversations about spirituality and life's questions while we work as a team.
Let's Talk About Mysticism: Labyrinths
Come connect/reconnect with fellow students as we reflect on this time of transition, of endings and beginnings. As part of this final session for this semester, we will look at labyrinths – these ancient mystical paths that have been walked for millennia – and you’ll get to try out a portable version you can “walk” with your fingers, finding your own personal meaning in the experience. As Simone Weil’s quote tells us, “The beauty of the world is the mouth of a labyrinth”.
Partner Event: 45th Christian Commemoration of the Shoah
Join Christian Jewish Dialogue of Montreal at Unitarian Church of Montreal in remembering the Shoah, or Holocaust. Co-chaired by Rev. Diane Rollert and Rabbi Ellen Greenspan, the commemoration, mainly in French, will include a testimonial by Muguette Myers, a candle-lighting ceremony in memory of all the victims of the Shoah, especially children, and music by Rona Nadler.

Partner Event: 12th Annual Eco-Action Day
Green Faith, Temple Emanu-El-Beth Sholom, Concordia's Multi-faith and Spirituality Centre and other local partners invite all to join the 12th Annual Eco-Action Day. This year we will clean up Mackenzie-King Park, located in Cotes-des-Neiges. Come connect with other volunteers of diverse faith backgrounds and belief systems. There will also be fun & prizes for all ages. Bring your picnic lunch if desired. This event is happening RAIN OR SHINE.
