A - kara
An iron/steel bracelet, circular, signifying the oneness and infiniteness of God, and reminding the wearer to use their hands to benefit humanity.
B - kirpan
A small, sheathed ceremonial dagger symbolizes the Sikh duty to stand up against injustice.
C- kangha
A wooden comb represents self-discipline, and when worn in the hair it reminds one to be morally righteous.
D - kesh
Unshorn hair covered with a turban (keski/dastar): symbolizing respect for God’s will.
E - kacchera
Cotton undergarments symbolizing upstanding moral character and fidelity.
